** What is a CU ticket?
  • CU is a Concurrent User. It means how many persons can work in EGroupware at the same time.
** How to handle CU tickets and the hosting package?
  • All packages include a set of concurrent users. If you estimate there are 5 people using EGroupware at the same time you need a pool of 5 CU tickets.
** How to get EGroupware training?
  • Basic admin and user training is available in MyStylite for hosting customers. This web training is included in your EGroupware package. Additional individual training with our consultants is available and needs an appropriate Support package or is charged by hourly rates.
** How to log in to My Stylite? Where to get a password?
  • Your administrator obtained a password for signing in, please ask the contact person in your organisation.
** How to access EGroupware?
  • You need an Internet browser. Set the URL as given by your administrator and sign in to your EGroupware with a safe Internet connection (https).
** Where is my data stored, is a backup available?
  • Your data is stored at Stylite's computing centre. The computing centre operations are certified and all necessary security provisions are available for best data protection. Stylite is providing a daily multilevel data backup.
** Can I get an additional backup of my data on demand?
  • Yes, you can. Please contact the Stylite sales team.
** Is EGroupware hosting possible worldwide?
  • The Stylite services are available worldwide. It is up to internet connection between your location and Stylite.
** How to migrate autonomous EGroupware installations to Stylite?
  • For the technical integration Stylite needs at least the database files and the data environment of EGroupware. Contact the Stylite sales team for an individual offer.
** How to join Stylite email services?
  • Migrate your Domain to Stylite or change your MX-record to the Stylite mail services. Your existing website hosting is not affected by the email migration.
** Are the Stylite computing centre operations safe?
  • Stylite is providing all services in its own computing centre at the headoffice in Germany. Stylite's technical operations are certified (refreshed annually). By developing processes and methods permanently, Stylite's engineers do its best to keep the highest possible standard in the computing centre operation, to protect customer's data optimally.   • Stylite is the leading power behind EGroupware. Besides Stylite's own commercial software approach EGroupware Premium Line (EPL), the Stylite development team publishes bug fixes and software enhancements under GPL. Follow the recent software development by the EGroupware change log.

** Is there something to pay for the EGroupware software, which is available in the internet?
  • The code is available in the internet for free and can be used under the GPL. Any services for EGroupware (like installation or customisation) are under your own responsibility or can be purchased from Stylite.
